I achieved the natural texture look I wanted. These curtains are a fraction of the price of the fringed burlap curtains from Ballard Designs. They look especially nice on the 3 windows that had the metal single-curtain projection rods. The curtains shed a bit and are time-consuming to iron but I wanted them to match the burlap fringed bedskirt from Ballard Designs and they sure do!
I love these burlap curtains. Exactly what I wanted! The only thing is there dryclean only. But worth it for the cuteness of these curtains.
The item was exactly as expected in terms of quality, look, and price. The curtains had a very strong chemical smell to them when taken out of the package (not what I was going for!). They needed to be aired outside for 3 days before bringing them into my house.
