Linens

When it comes to decorating a tablescape for an intimate dinner party or any special event, it’s wise to set things in motion by choosing a table base. Since we wanted to use a color that is versatile and can be worked into different seasonal decors, we decided to drape a glossy teal satin tablecloth over our table which exuded the perfect amount of sheen and luster. In order to make our table decor as chic and trendy as it could possibly be, we decided to accent our sumptuous teal-colored linen with our gorgeous white table runner with gold geometric pattern which added a lovely contrast and gave an eccentric and modish flair to our dinner tablescape.

Table Settings

As soon as the base was laid out, it was time to move on to the place settings. Because we were aiming for a refined but not too formal look, we ended up ditching the charger plates and just used placemats for our table arrangement. With the unique shape and intricately weaved design, our gold fan vinyl table placemats were the perfect addition to our tablescape decor. For dinnerware, we took cue from our geometric table runner and opted for our stunning white round plates which featured a classy gold checkered rim design and paired them with white handled gold cutlery and gold rimmed flutes and cups for a lovely cohesive appeal. Since we wanted to incorporate exotic seasonal hues in our tablescape, we placed our lavender polyester napkins on top of the dinner plates and used white acrylic napkin rings to keep them in their place that brought finesse and grace to the table.

Centerpiece

Next on the agenda was to create a gorgeous table centerpiece. As it is no secret that candles play an important part in elevating the entire dining experience, using a candle holder centerpiece was our preference. While our store is loaded with exquisite candle holders, we just couldn’t resist using our newly arrived gold cluster candle holder. With the sleek gold metal construction and 12 arm structure, the white taper candles set inside the cylindrical glass shades oozed a mesmerizing glow like we had never seen before! Because we intended to use flowers in our dinner tablescape decorations, we decided to embellish our candleholder centerpiece with violet-hued long stem roses, ivory rosebuds, and cream-colored wisteria vine strands which imbued an awe-inspiring floral flair to our table.

Additional Tabletop Decorations

In order to take our tablescape decor a step further, we arranged our white cotton ball string lights on our runner and randomly placed gold LED tea light candles on the table emanating a subtle glow and radiance. Moreover, to perky things up a little, we also scattered around a mix of tissue paper and foil confetti in lavender, ivory, and blue hues all over the table which gave a flamboyant appeal to our dinner tablescape.

Chair Decorations

With the table all set for a lavish dinner party, there was no reason not to dress up the chairs as well. So using our teal-colored satin chair sashes, we simply tied bows to elegantly bedeck our chair backs as you can see in the video. You can also use chair sash pins and buckles to further adorn your chair backs, but we suggest that you keep things simple to avoid overkill.
