Exactly what I needed
Haven't actually pulled this out to use it yet. That said, the color is perfect, the material is the right thickness for our custom tablecloths (several different sizes of tables, so this was the best option) and I'm excited to see the final results.

Beautiful Amethyst Satin
I am still working out how I will design with this piece of fabric. The color and texture are just amazing. The photo of it was quite accurate, purples are hard to capture. It is actually more beautiful in person. I plan to use all of it as puddling scarves over curtains in a spa room
Not a Tablecloth!
My astronomer friend asked me to modify a big sack he uses to protect his huge telescope; it needed to be several feet longer. It was made of heavy black satin, & I felt lucky to find this inexpensive satin but had no idea it was so light. Even so, it was satisfactory, since the sack just covers the equipment but doesn't bear any stress. I doubled the fabric & completed the job, & my friend was very happy with it. It was challenging to sew on because it's so slick, but finished well.
