Assembling your Rustic Thanksgiving Centerpiece

Since a rustic décor is quite on the trend these days, it would particularly be suitable for a Thanksgiving dinner. Hence, we decided to assemble a rustic floral Thanksgiving centerpiece for you to recreate for your soiree. This masterpiece is completely contained in a wooden planter box with natural and artificial elements in the colors of fall. Here you’ll be at ease to set up the centerpiece before dinner and while the dinner is being served, simply transfer the entire wooden box to a buffet table or in another room to make more space for food. This way you’ll be able to spread the joyous vibe all-around your space while enjoying a hearty meal with your cherished ones.

Assemble this breathtaking Thanksgiving centerpiece using the following supplies:

• Wooden planter box;
• Rectangular Styrofoam sheets;
• Silk sunflowers;
• Burgundy and orange silk baby breath flowers;
• Burgundy silk daisies;
• LED candles;
• Pine cones and rattan ball assortments;
• Silk gold hydrangea bushes;
• Artificial fern foliage;
• Metallic gold natural goose feathers;
• Scissors

Instructions

• Start with the assembling process of your Thanksgiving centerpiece by lining your wood planter box with layers of Styrofoam rectangular sheets. These foam sheets are meant to create some height for your arrangement and a base for inserting your artificial flowers. You may be required to cut the foam sheets with scissors to fit your planter box.
• The next step involves the placement of our LED candles in the wood planter with an equal distance between them. We selected LED candles to be a part of our Thanksgiving centerpiece as they prove ideal in preventing any fire hazards and provide a similar candlelight effect.
• With our candles in place, we can now start with our floral décor around the candles in the wood planter. Cut out appropriate lengths of stems from silk sunflowers, daisies, hydrangeas, and baby breath flower bushes and arrange them beautifully in your planter just as shown in the image.
• Now that you have all the flowers in place, insert some fern foliage, pine cones, and rattan balls in a random way to help with the overall rustic look that is known for woodland style Thanksgiving centerpieces.
• Since gold is the traditional color used on holidays like Thanksgiving, we decided to place some gold feathers to add a touch of grandeur to our majestic centerpiece. This last addition will complete your gorgeous masterpiece and will adorn your tablescape elegantly.

A Complete Thanksgiving Tablescape

While Thanksgiving centerpieces may have you inspired for your soiree, we know that you may be looking for a complementing table set up. For your convenience, we have also assembled a simple yet elegant tablescape. We have given our table set up a neutral base by dressing the table with our champagne velvet tablecloth with a white/gold striped satin runner atop. As you can see, the neutral foundation has given our Thanksgiving centerpiece more room to spread vibrant colors all around the tablecscape.
