Believe it or not, it’s already the second half of May! Memorial Day is just a week away, and the time has come to remove your spring decorations and give way to the patriotic inspiration, which doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to paint your house red, blue, and white. At tableclothsfactory.com, we believe that the best way to express your American pride is to decorate your front door with a DIY patriotic wreath. In order to get you past hours of web surfing, we’ve assembled a few wreaths, which you can easily recreate without breaking the banks!
Twigs & Flowers Patriotic Wreath
Very likely, your schedule is too tough for making detailed wreaths. Fortunately, our online store offers a natural grapevine twig wreath. Crafted from natural materials, it can become a perfect foundation for any classic twig & flowers wreath for your front door (however, it’s gorgeous enough to be displayed as it is!) – just stock up on your favorite flowers and give way to your creativity!
Supplies
- Natural grapevine twig wreath;
- Hydrangeas in red, blue, and white. Though you can stock up on as many bouquets as you wish, we strongly recommend you go for only a few ones in order to leave those adorable twigs and moss exposed;
- Scissors;
- Glue gun.

Instructions
- In order to make sure that the flowers are easy to work with, you can cut off the excess stems.
- Apply some glue to the red hydrangea and insert it between the twigs.
- Repeat this procedure with the white and blue hydrangeas. To achieve an elegant look without much effort, cover one-third of the wreath form with the flowers.
- Separate a few individual hydrangea flowers from each cluster.
- Apply them to the opposite side of the wreath form for a balanced look.
- Voila – your wreath is ready to be displayed on your front door!

Instructions
- As you might have noticed, all our Burning Passion leaves come in clusters with bendable stems. That said, in order to attach one of the clusters to the wreath form, first up, you’ll need to wrap the bendable stems around the wreath form.
- Once the bendable stems are on the wreath, use our glue dots in order to secure the leaves (you can also use our hot glue gun or duct tape).
- Do the same with the other leaf clusters trying to alternate each color.
- Separate individual leaves from the remaining clusters and glue them to the stems into order to conceal the latter.
- To prevent the leaves from falling off, secure them with the straight pins.
