An Ultimate Dessert Station to Sweeten Up America’s Independence Birthday
There is no one right way to ring in another year of independence. You can display the American flag outside your home, take part in watermelon or hot dog eating competitions, or escape the summer heat at the beach. At tableclothsfactory.com, we believe that the best way to give thanks for the freedom and liberties fought by the first generation of Americans is to gather everybody you love and throw an ultimate Independence Day party. To this effect, we’ve assembled this captivating patriotic dessert station to sweeten up your preparation process!
Backdrop
Since it is a buffet table, it’s recommended to set the scene with the backdrop, which should reflect your theme. When it comes to the Fourth of July, you can look no further than the American flag. But in case you are longing for something less common, giving way to creativity with curtains, flowers, and balloons is a nice solution. Luckily, our online store is a true paradise of backdrop decorations – here, you can find everything from traditional organza curtains to captivating flower walls. With that said, we understand that in this situation, it is pretty hard to make a choice. However, whatever idea is in your mind, you can’t go wrong with neutrals. For example, you can set the ball rolling with a white wall. In case you don’t have one, we suggest fixing things up with our artificial bricks – despite their realistic construction to mimic their concrete counterparts, they are crafted from foam, which makes them inexpensive, light, and easy to install.
As soon as the brick panels are on, it’s time to add a splash of color. At tableclothsfactory.com, you can find plenty of ways to spruce up your backdrop with vibrant shades. For instance, you can get creative with our giant paper flowers, add pom poms, or spell out something holiday-related with the help of our marquee letters, which can be then accentuated with flowers in theme colors. Balloons are also a safe bet – we’ve displayed on our freshly arrived star-shaped mylar inflatables, and as you can see, it was the right decision.
Linens
Whether you are dealing with a traditional table for a sit-up occasion or setting up a buffet station, never neglect linens – they will not just protect your table (or cover an unsightly piece of furniture) but will also help you achieve a pulled-together look. Since we didn’t have the national flag at hand, we’ve decided to “recreate” it using linens from our online store. Thus, we’ve dressed up the table with our newly arrived red/white striped satin tablecloth and then, finished it off with a piece of navy-blue cloth with star-shaped confetti atop. Though the result was impeccable, it is not the only option – for example, you can make your setup more minimalist with a red/white or blue/white runner from our striped selection or go for a classic look with gingham linens.
Tableware & Servers
It doesn’t matter which balloons or linens you opt for, your party won’t be complete without the dinnerware. Since we didn’t want to distract our guests away from all those fanciful pastries, we’ve decided on plain servers. To provide our cookies with “first-class seats” without breaking the banks, we recommend you take our cardboard cupcake stands into consideration. For a vintage touch, you can use our metal cake stands with coiled design, which are extremely convenient. In case you have a cake, you can follow our example and display it on one of our gold cake stands – as you can see in the picture, golds have revamped the official appeal of reds, blues, and whites. Those who have bulk candy can serve them in our clear apothecary jars. No matter what cake stands and servers you choose, don’t neglect the basics – your guests won’t be able to enjoy desserts without plates and napkins!
Additional Accents
Though we could have left this setup without any additional decorations, we felt that something was missing. To fix things up, we’ve complemented our patriotic color palette with red, white, and blue chrysanthemums in a glass trumpet-shaped vase (as you might have guessed, chrysanthemums are not the only option – our extensive collection of silk flowers also offers roses, tulips, peonies, and beyond). Meanwhile, candles in clear holders have added a touch of romanticism into our tablescape.
Believe it or not, it took us no longer than 30 minutes to bring this setup to life. At the same time, it should be noted that it is not the only way to add a spirit of American pride into your décor. For your convenience, our online store is brimming with decorations and party supplies to experiment with – just remember to stick to traditional reds, blues, and whites.
