- Fill the bucket or tub with warm water.
- Add a small amount of Woolite and agitate the water to mix.
- Swish the feathers around the water. Do NOT scrub the feather as this will damage them.
- Rinse by swishing in clean water.
- Reshape the feathers.
- Dry with a blow dryer on a low setting.

Ostridge Feathers make BEAUTIFUL centerpiece
I chose the snow-white large Ostridge feathers for my holiday table centerpiece. I received many compliments. I used all twelve feathers, plus 10 small feathers. I used a silver antique coffee urn as the base of my centerpiece as opposed to a glass vessel. It really made the centerpiece large and substantial. Choose something different for your centerpiece and make it WOW your guests. I used a green Styrofoam insert into the coffee urn to start and it came together in under 10 minutes. I did not use any skewers in the end of the feathers. So easy and fun to make!

I am using them in a tall vase for a centerpiece at a Bridgerton bridal shower. I cannot wait!

My celebration is in August so I have not used these yet but upon opening them I thought they were lovely and they would go with the decor of the wedding and White but I honestly couldn’t figure out exactly how to use them effectively so I shipped them to the bride who is very crafty, and I’m sure she will make very good use of them But they are true to size but the stems weren’t quite long enough to stay in a vase as I pictured I would use them. Perhaps they should use some Styrofoam as in the kind you use for silk flowers , very cool.
