Using these black candles for Halloween ambience, the flickering lights created a great dinner mood. LED lights last a looong time, enough for a vampire to stay up til dawn!

WEDDING 1 WEEK AWAY
NEEDED CANDLES BECAUSE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE BURNING CANDLES. ONE WEEK AWAY ORDERED BATTERY CANDLES AND WERE DELIVERED WITHIN 5 DAYS! WAY TO GO TABLECLOTH! KNEW WE COULD COUNT ON YOU!
Concerningly Long-Lasting
These candles were purchased for a wedding in which blush and pinks and golds are primary colors. The candles are pretty obviously plastic up close but have a beautiful sheen and difference in colorations between the three per pack. Each candle takes two AAA batteries which are placed through the bottom of the candle which has a (somewhat difficult to twist) cap to seat everything in place. The 'flame' flickers in a pleasing, realistic fashion. There are no timers or buttons - once your batteries are in, these babies are on. And they'll be on for a VERY long time. We purchased Amazon brand AAAs (100 for $28) and prayed that these candles would hold up to our expectations of a ~12 hour runtime. I set up two total candles as 'testers', loaded them with batteries, and waited. This was on April 20th, 2024. As of June 5th, 2024, one candle is STILL GOING. It now lives on my fireplace, and I will be quite sad when it decides to die. The other candle did die a bit earlier - probably a week and a half ago - and I imagine that the variation in battery quality is to blame. I fear using Duracells to power these, as they might outlast me. Five stars.
