Our St. Patrick’s Day Candy Bar to Win Over Any Leprechaun

•  St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is soon to arrive, but you still don’t know how to decorate your venue for this holiday? Whether you are Irish or not (everybody is Irish on St. Paddy’s Day, after all!), you are in luck! In order to make you inspired in advance, we’ve assembled this easy yet tantalizing candy bar setup, which will definitely win over any leprechaun, and you won’t have to search for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Backdrop

It goes without saying that any candy bar begins with the backdrop, which functions as a “canvas”. A plain, white wall is always a nice option to start from. Since we didn’t have one, we’ve decided to fix things up with the help of our self-adhesive foam bricks. Available in panels, they feature self-adhesive backing, meaning that it will take you a couple of minutes to assemble a stylish brick wall. Moreover, they are easy to remove so that you can set up a stunning background anywhere you want!

Once the background was there, we’ve proceeded with the main decorations. Our giant paper flowers will always help you out whenever you need to get a breathtaking setup in a matter of seconds. Since the given occasion calls for lots of green, we’ve attached a few multi-sized green carnations, which have instantly transformed our plain wall into a decent photo backdrop. When assembling yours, you can go even further if you wish – for instance, you can pair the carnations with our peonies and even consider adding a couple of our gold foam roses.

Linens

If your budget doesn’t allow you to spend extravagantly on new lavish tables, don’t despair! Our high-quality linens will always help you out to attain that crisp classy look. Luckily, our online store offers an immense selection of options to choose from. Still, regardless of what occasion is on the horizon, you can never go wrong with a white satin tablecloth. As shown in the picture, it strikes a perfect match with our apple green table runner and mint green carnations!

At the same time, you can always give way to your creativity. For example, our green gingham tablecloth coupled with burlap runners or pennants will nicely pair with St. Patrick’s greens – just bear in mind that the easiest way to get a cohesive look is to combine different shades of green, such as mint green, apple green, hunter green, tea green, and beyond.

Dinnerware

Since the leprechaun with his famous pot of gold is a symbol of this holiday, gold is another must for any St. Patrick’s Day setup. If you don’t plan to add our gold giant roses to your backdrop, gold dinnerware is a perfect way-out. For example, we’ve displayed our cake and cupcakes on gold cake stands – fortunately, our online store offers plenty of these! Meanwhile, our striped paper straws along with our white round gold-rimmed plates have beautifully complemented the cakeware. On top of that, to add some balance and dimension, we’ve pulled out a couple of apothecary jars and have further filled them with candy that matches the theme color.

Additional Accents

Once everything is in its place, add a personalized touch with a couple of eye-catching accents. For example, to make our setup more romantic, we’ve used St. Patrick’s Day celebration as a perfect chance to showcase our green glass votive cups. Plus, since it’s early spring, and thus everybody suffers from the lack of greenery, we’ve decided to refresh the ensemble with our echeveria plants in white ceramic pots and a bouquet of eucalyptus. For a special touch, we’ve sprinkled some heart-shaped confetti and have assembled it into mini-shamrocks – isn’t it a perfect way-out when you don’t have enough time for making cutouts?

Last but not the least, it didn’t take us long to assemble this dessert station. As you can see, you don’t have to make it all-green – a white background and linens, some pops of gold here and there, and you’ve got an eye-pleasing combo. But of course, there’s always some room for creativity. With that being said, we are looking forward to your opinion about this setup. Please let us know what you think in the comments below!
